The winter season is upon us, which means that many of you are suffering through foggy windows. Foggy windows can be a considerable inconvenience, but luckily, you can do plenty of things to eliminate the problem! This article will discuss how to stop your windows from fogging up.

If you want to keep your windows fog-free, you must take some preventative steps.

Fog Free Windows in the Home

One of the simplest ways to keep your windows fog-free is using a squeegee. This can be done before or after you’ve cleaned your windows. Ensure that the window is completely dry before attempting to squeegee it, and also make sure that you use a good quality squeegee. If you don’t have a squeegee, you can use a paper towel or cloth to clean the window.

There are also other ways to keep your window fog-free. For instance, if you want to stop condensation on your bathroom windows, consider using an anti-fog spray after every shower session. If there is too much steam in the room because of a hot shower, you can open the window to let the steam escape. You can also install extractor fans in both bathrooms and kitchens to reduce the amount of steam that fogs up your windows, and in turn, causes more mould.

You can also use a dehumidifier to reduce the amount of humidity in the air. This is an excellent option if you live in a humid climate or have problems with mould and mildew. If you dry clothes inside or cook a lot of food that releases steam, this could also be an excellent option for you.

Finally, another way to stop your windows from fogging up is by using an insulation film. This can be applied to the inside of your windows, and it will help keep the warm air out and the cold air in reducing fog.
