Leeds Castle

 Home to Henry VIII and his wife Catherine of Aragon, this Georgian mansion has lots to offer. Situated within 500 acres of beautiful parkland and formal gardens, this majestic manner is full of activities including; free-flying falconry displays, special tours and astonishing events.  It certainly is the best day out in Kent! 

Mote Park

For the adventurous type, Mote Park is the best way to experience the outdoors. Covering over 450 acres, the park boasts features such as grassland, woodland, rivers and a 30-acre lake. There are also lots of things to do including; cycle and walking trails, a free BMX track, segways, model railway, model boats and two large children’s play areas. This is a great place to explore during both the summer and winter months.

Cobtree Manor Park

Best known locally as the site for the Maidstone Zoo, Cobtree Manor Park has lots to offer. Set within a country park, the manor is surrounded by woodland, gardens and hillside views of the North Downs. When exploring the park, you may even discover some of the remnants of the Zoo including a cattle shelter, sheep wash and the Elephant House. Keep your eyes peeled! 

Kent Life

For a family day out, this is the perfect place to visit! Once known as Scandling Farm – an area that formed part of the wider Allington Castle estate in the mid 16th century – Kent life offers a range of things to do including; family play, big top, farmyard & nature, vintage village, gardens, shopping and food, and an owl academy. Open all year round, this is a truly fun place to visit!

Hazlitt Theatre

For those looking for entertainment, the Hazlitt Studio has something for everyone. Named after the famous essayist William Hazlitt, the theatre offers a range of music, dance and theatre to keep you entertained through the winter months.
